...damn, I just love Knopfler's guitar! I think it is an exellent example of what is missing in much of today's new rock. Most bands like to play loud and fast, with little regard for the beautiful sounds that can be coaxed from a guitar by a true master.

Tue, May 27, 2008 - 8:35 PMMark and Straits are big in this living cube. I love the live bands the brothers (in arms) put together with dual-drummers and letting the energy come from the interchange and tension of the music, rather than pure volume--the Dead also did this well. -
